Welcome to New Orleans, where jazz fills the streets, Creole and Cajun flavors tempt you around every corner, and every neighborhood has its own story.
Your package begins with private transportation from the airport to your selected hotel. Four nights are suggested, but the length of your stay is entirely flexible. Days 1–5
Day 1 – Welcome to New Orleans
Arrive at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, where your private transportation will take you directly to your selected hotel.
After checking in, begin gently with an evening walk through the French Quarter. Admire the distinctive balconies, discover Jackson Square and enjoy your first taste of Creole or Cajun cooking. If you still have energy, listen to live music on Frenchmen Street.
Day 2 – The French Quarter and the Mississippi River
Begin the day in the historic heart of New Orleans. Wander through Jackson Square, see St. Louis Cathedral and explore the artists, shops and architecture surrounding the square.
Continue to the French Market and the Mississippi riverfront. You may choose to take an optional riverboat cruise, visit a museum or simply enjoy the atmosphere from one of the neighborhood cafés.
In the evening, select from jazz clubs, local restaurants and the lively streets of the French Quarter.
Day 3 – Garden District and New Orleans Neighborhoods
Ride the historic St. Charles streetcar toward the Garden District, known for its oak-lined streets and impressive historic homes. Explore Magazine Street, where independent shops, cafés and restaurants reveal another side of the city.
Later, return downtown and visit the Warehouse and Arts District. Depending on your interests, you may explore the National WWII Museum, contemporary galleries or the restaurants around Julia Street.
Day 4 – Choose Your Own New Orleans Experience
Today is yours to personalize. You might take an optional Louisiana bayou nature tour, enjoy a daytime jazz brunch, join a guided food tour or spend more time discovering New Orleans’ music and cultural heritage.
You could also explore City Park, visit the New Orleans Museum of Art or ride the Canal Street streetcar. For your final evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant followed by live jazz or blues.
